On-access scanner: SpyMonitor is always active. When it detects something suspicous, it will immediatly alert you. You don't have to ask to scan your computer before something is detected. But it's recommended that you don't use only SpyMonitor, also use another product. Updater: SpyMonitor runs periodically an updater so that you are always sure that you have the latest protection.
